Scallop? Pie?

Peter Kay’s sketch of his father questioning the delicacy that is garlic bread sprung to mind when I saw these.  What? Scallops? In a pie? A pie that is made with scallops? Never! So I bought them and what do you know, one of the best pies I have ever eaten. Matt took one mouthful and declared himself out, so that left me with two. Don’t worry, I only ate the filling of his. I left the pastry. I’m not an animal:-)

 

The good news is that they are made about 10 minute drive away  in Langwarrin. Second thoughts, that might not be such a good thing.
