Poolside Hazards

I thought that putting the pool cover on might be hazardous, however, I wasn’t quite expecting this…

We ended up finding two red backs mothers-to-be with their sacks of eggs. Both were larger than a 10 cent coin. Just as well we found them when we did …’A single female normally lays between 40 and 300 eggs in each sac but can lay up to 5000 eggs. The eggs hatch 13 to 15 days after being laid.’ Needless to say, they are no longer with us. :-0
