The M Family’s shoot coincided with little B’s first birthday and grandparents visiting from interstate. They wanted their family photo’s in their own garden. When I arrived, I understood why. It was simply breathtaking. Undulating grassy areas, veggie patches, a chicken shed, trees that form a woodland area and even their very own brook running through! B is one very lucky little girl growing up in such a beautiful location.

The W Family contacted me to photograph their family while their relatives were visiting from England. I love, love, love doing this! Capturing their precious time together and it’s something I always do when my own friends and family visit from overseas. We had such a fun time and were so lucky with the weather – it rained five minutes after the shoot! Mind you, shorts and T-shirt in the middle of winter – we can’t complain Perth!

To the W Family – you are such a beautiful family inside and out and I hope this shows in your photographs. Thank you for allowing me to document this special time with your families together. Rach x

The J Family called me to have a shoot to mark the end of an era and the start of a new chapter in their lives. Their mum was moving out of her house in Cottesloe that had been the family home for over 40 years. Having myself never lived in a house for more than 4 years I cannot imagine it must feel to leave your family home although I cannot think of a better excuse to photographs in and around the home as a keepsake.

Here’s to the future and creating new memories in your new home!

Mrs V arranged for me to photograph her beautiful children as a surprise birthday present for her husband. The shoot was at their home which was lovely as both the kiddywinkles were in their element showing me their toys and playing on the trampoline.

Kids at this age are such good fun and these two were no exception! They are both such bright sparks – I love talking to such switched on little ones. They had me wrapped around their little fingers in no time!
