Morning Star Estate feat. 100% Kylie, BABBA & The Robbie Williams Experience

I did a shoot yesterday at the Morning Star Estate’s Music In The Vines Concert. It truly was top quality entertainment and a fantastic day out. The weather was perfect; mild and sunny all day.  One of the fabulous things about Australia is that everyone turns up to an event with their own camping chairs, picnic blankets and picnic….and I mean everyone. It adds to the whole relaxed atmosphere and I’m quite sure doesn’t happen anywhere else.

Walking around the grounds of the Estate I found there was so much more on offer; a petting zoo, face painting, train rides, fairground rides, bouncy castles, an opportunity to meet snakes and lizards and balloon shaper (or whatever the correct title is). All of this was FREE with your entry ticket…. big thumbs up to Morning Star for not cashing in on families. I then wandered around the rest of the Estate (well not quite the 30 acres of vineyards) and could have spent hours just taking photographs of the perfectly manicured gardens, sweeping views of the undulating hills and Port Phillip Bay, not to mention the imposing Victorian architecture.

The entertainment kicked off with 100% Kylie and despite being first up she had the crowd up and dancing in no time. (I gotta get me one of them there red corsets….HOT!)

Next on stage was The Robbie Williams Experience. The crowd were eating out of his hand, so much so that at one point, one particular lady could no longer contain herself and jumped up on stage with him! That may or may not have had something to do with the Estate produced wine being sold. I am not entirely sure. He ended his set with ‘Rock DJ’ which brought the house down.

The final act was BABBA who were also superb. The icing on the cake was when 100% Kylie and The Robbie Williams Experience joined them on stage for the finale of Dancing Queen.  The quality of entertainment was excellent. What a show!
