Last week, a posted a little peek at Lachy turning one. His Mummy and Daddy wanted his photographs to be on his actual birthday, which was fine, because his Mummy was organised and booked me way in advance. The one thing we couldn’t book in advance though was the weather. As I set off from my house, I could see black clouds drawing in and it wasn’t long before they caught me up. It’s so rare that I have to fight with the weather in Perth and we do of course need the rain so we really shouldn’t complain. As they wanted the photographs on his actual birthday we went ahead with the shoot however, instead of going to a park, as planned, we did the shoot at his home. I am so glad we didn’t reschedule and went to their home. We were incredibly lucky with the weather as we only experienced slight spitting and their house made for a beautiful setting. An early 1900’s weatherboard house with gorgeous gardens. Just perfect.
To Lachy’s Mummy & Daddy : It was so special to share part of Lachy’s first birthday with him and to meet all three of you. I am sure everything happens for a reason as we ended up with such lovely photographs with your home as the setting. Rx
