Typical Melburnian day. We drove through the clear blue skies towards the CBD. Just as we approached the car park, the skies clouded over and then the tennis ball sized rain drops hammered the car for a good ten minutes. By the time we’d parked up, the shower (although the word shower in no way described the torrent that fell from the sky) had passed and we were left to take our shoes off and run through 6 inch warm puddles. Seriously, I have had cooler baths. The kids thought it was great fun and I may have been slightly amused. As we walked along South Bank I caught a glimpse of Flinders Street Station from a different angle. I love how you can see the bright blue sky in the reflection of the gigantic puddle left by the ‘shower’.
